Towards the Sustainable MICE Facility

The Osaka International Convention Center was established in 2000 as a MICE facility for a new era of human warmth, and since then it has become a familiar place for many people to interact with each other, transcending borders and generations.

The Year of 2023, marks the turning point for the achievement of the SDGs, which were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 with the target year of 2030. In addition, the Osaka-Kansai Expo will be held in 2025 with the achievement of the SDGs as one of its major concepts. We will further promote the energy-saving and barrier-free initiatives that have been implemented so far at our center to realize operating this MICE facility as a place for sustainable interaction.

It is very important for us, the entire supply chain, including partner companies, to always be aware of the environment and sustainability while promoting SDGs initiatives. As a result, this concept will be earned customers’ trust, preference, and familiarity. We believe it will make us the International MICE Facility.

Take World Expo as an opportunity, all of our staff will do our best to make this convention center to one of the Leading Urban MICE facilities of Asia and contribute to the Development and Internationalization of Osaka.

We kindly ask for your continued support of our convention center.
